Local and foreign hockey fans are eagerly waiting when the World Junior tickets for the 2016 tournament will be available.

”We get inquiries for tickets on every day, and so far we just need to calm people down,” says Organizing Committee General Secretary Timo Backman. ”First of all the game schedule needs to be approved, after that we can proceed with ticket sales.”

The game schedule approval process starts as soon as playing teams and groups have been finalized after the 2015 tournament. To be approved, the game schedule needs to be signed by each playing team as well as the IIHF.

”We are prepared to start the ticket sale soon after the game schedule is finalized. Our ticketing partner Lippupiste is very experienced in big events and our own preparations are well under way,” Backman continues.

2016 World Junior ticket sale is expected to start in spring. Exact dates will be communicated beforehand on this website.
