27 players will battle to get the chance to represent Finland on the home ice at the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Head Coach Jukka Jalonen chose 27 potential players for the selection camp prior to the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship. The camp will start on 13th December at the Vierumaki Training Centre. The roster includes three goalkeepers, 10 defencemen and 14 forwards. The final team will include 23 players (3 goalkeepers and 20 skaters).

Two young Finnish stars from professional leagues in North America, Colorado Avalanche forward Mikko Rantanen and Toronto Marlies forward Kasperi Kapanen, will join the team later.

Prior to the tournament Finland will play two exhibition games – on 21st of December in Hameenlinna against Switzerland and on 22nd of December in Lahti against the U.S.

The final roster for the hosts will be announced after these games.

Finland will play the first game at the home tournament on Boxing Day against Belarus.
